Black fused alumina powder is a new environmentally friendly material, mainly used for free grinding, such as polishing and coarse grinding before electroplating of products. The production process difference between brown fused alumina powder and black fused alumina powder shows that, compared to brown fused alumina powder, the gas emissions from the reduction reaction during the production of black fused alumina powder are minimal. The electric consumption for melting black fused alumina powder is only about 50% of that for brown fused alumina powder, and the energy consumption is lower, significantly reducing the dust and gas emissions from electrical energy production. Therefore, compared with brown fused alumina powder, black fused alumina powder is more energy-saving, environmentally friendly, low-carbon, and is an eco-friendly product.
